Samsung will announce the latest Gear S smartwatch next week

Image
Samsung is set to launch a new smartwatch at an event next week under the Gear brand, the electronic giant's mobile head told us, just days before Apple is expected to unveil its next wearable. In an interview with CNBC DJ Koh, the president of Samsung's mobile division, said that the next generation of the Gear S series of smartwatches will be launched at IFA next week, a consumer electronics trade show in Berlin. Samsung has been prolific when it comes to its wearable launches. It launched two versions of the Galaxy S3 smartwatch in August 2016, and currently sells a fitness band called the Gear Fit. The wearable market hasn't exploded as many had expected, but it has been growing. Wearable shipments hit 102.4 million units in 2016, marking a 25 percent year-on-year rise, according to data from IDC. In the first quarter of 2017, Samsung shipped 1.4 million wearables, growing over 90 percent year-on-year, holding 5.5 percent market share, IDC data showed. H

Lonewolf Game Review: Mobile Sniper Game With a Refreshing Twist

Image
First-person shooting games have been a craze since time immemorial in the world of gaming. Though it was brought to the mainstream by the world renowned games like Counter Strike and Call of Duty, the origins can be traced back to a game many loved playing in their childhood days. Today’s games focus on giving you a much stronger reason to shoot at those ‘ducks’. One such game that we have been playing since the last couple of days is ‘Lonewolf’. The mobile based game is available both on Google Play Store and Apple Store. Here is our experience with the game and the reason why it is different from all t

Lamborghini’s luxury Android phone is definitely not worth $2,450

Image
I understand people's phone choices say something about their personalities, so what does the luxury Lamborghini phone say about the person who uses it? They're glamorous? They enjoy leather? They value luxury, maybe? I can't say, nor can I even guess, because I doubt I'll ever see someone with  Lamborghini's new Alpha - One smartphone . The Android device, which the company debuted today features "Italian handmade black leather" with a custom Italian leather accompanying phone case. That's about as luxury as it get. Apple iOS 11 Developers' Beta 7 Released: How To Install, Should You Download? Updated

Image
The Developers' Beta 7 of iOS 11 is upon us, just seven days after the last update, suggesting that it’s going to mainly be a series of bug squishes and general tightening up of the software which is looking increasingly ready for release. In other words, this late in the beta game, Apple’s working to an impressively accelerated schedule. As I mentioned last week when Dev Beta 6 arrived, the Developers' Beta is the one that’s only available to developers (I mean, there's a clue in the name, right?), not the rest of us who are able to take a look at the software a little later via the public beta. Although you can sign up for the dev beta just by registering as a developer, please bear in mind that this costs $99 and in all likelihood, you’ll only be saving yourself a matter of hours – in recent weeks the dev beta has been followed the next day by the public version if not sooner. Update: the public beta is now live, in record time, following the Dev Beta just
